Anybody Just Get Back???

we are leaving for disney on the 18th--and cannot wait to get there. i was wondering if anyone could tell me how the crowds are and the weather????

I just got back today. I was there the 8th-14th. The crowds were moderate. For the most part in all parks other than Magic Kingdom, the waits were about 5 minutes. Magic Kindgom is busy no matter what the time of year, but I thought the crowds were great because I have seen it much worse. The only thing that got a little annoying were the masses of high school kids taking school trips...but really that wasn't a problem. The weather was PERFECT! It sprinkled for 10 minutes one day and the rest of the time it was beautiful and sunny in the mid to upper 80's! At night it was nice too in upper 60's-low 70's! Your going to have a great time. My only advise to to get your seats early for fireworks/parades. People are like vultures!

I know what you mean. We got back last Sunday. Found crowds to be fine, but I think we must hit EPCOT on home and charter school day. Large groups of kids all wearing the same shirt roaming together. It wasn't a problem unless you got in line behind them, not realy for rides, but for food or characters. It took forever for all 30 or 40 of them to order or get autographs and pictures.

I also just got back It was absolutly perfect!

Great weather, low crowds (did notice the school groups at Epcot though)

We were in the magic from May 2-12. A deeeelightful time! The weather was absolutely ideal! CM told me that it felt more like February than May because the temps were so moderate. The crowds were not bad at all and with using Fast Pass we never had a long wait at any attraction.

We were there April 28 - May 7. First week was hot and humid with thunderstorms, second week was perfect, low 80's, no humidity.

I found it quite crowded during the weekend, but the crowds thinned during the first week of May considerably. Last year the 3rd week of May was perfect. Hope it's that way for you!
