Anybody in NY able to order Connections vouchers ? (m)

I'm SO frustrated. I'm trying to join connections but it says it's not available in my area. I live in upstate, NY. I really would like to have 20-30 of these for our upcoming trip, but definately can't afford ebay prices. Cheaper to pay for the meals than the vouchers on ebay.

So, has anyone in NY been able to join the program? Or, any suggestions on where I can find vouchers at close to list price?

I'm in my third membership. I just joined again through Lillian Vernon1800-545-5426. It's a little different..first month is $1 and then it's $8.50 a month for however long you want to be a member.
I'm in Albany area.

Does Lillian Vernon have an online setup, or telephone only? Also, how long between joining and getting to use the program? Our trip is somewhat last-minute. We're going down in September, and I'm totally behind at planning anything.

Will I have to order the vouchers, etc, on the phone or will I have access to the connections website?

If you join thru Lillian Vernon, you have to call and join (800-545-5426). The only restriction for New Yorkers is that some of the movies cost more due to locations in Manhattan. Once you join thru Lillian Vernon, you call and use Connections after three business days. Also, Lillian Vernon is giving 2 free movie tickets and a $20 dining rebate for joining. It's the best way to go as you can cancel at any time. I joined, ordered vouchers, and then called and cancelled. I'll join again when I go in November.

I was able to join Dealpass thru creationsrewards.net and order the same vouchers that connections has. I am in upstate NY and had no problem. I also cancelled one day before my 30 days was up and have had no problems with billing.

I'll call Lillian Vernon and join the program. Then, three days later I'll have to call someone else?? to order vouchers? How do I find out the prices, etc. and the details of the program? Is there a website I will be able to look at?

You call and join..then you either wait 10 days for the info in your mail, or you can call after 3 days and get your membership number. Vernon will give you the phone number and website you'll go to once you ahve that info. I bleieve it's connections123.com. Some voucher info is posted at the top of the budget board.
If you decide you don't want to keep it withing 30 days, you call and cancel. They usually offer you incentives to stay. If you buy gift certificates (not vouchers..but GC that you get 10% off of)..that discount is posted to your credit card, but you have to be a member when they post the 10%..usually 28-30 days after you order.
We were all confused until we actually used the service and got hte info in the mail...you aren't alone.

I also had the same difficulty when I attempted to become a connections member on-line. I also live in upstate NY. I just called the 1-800 number found on www.connections123.com and signed up for my free 30 day trial. It only takes about 5 minutes. In 2-4 days you can call back and order vouchers at the cost of 11.25 each for lunch/dinner at participating restaurants. You can get up to 40 a year. You must cancel before 30 days or you will be charged the 69.95 fee! Good luck. We are using them for an upcoming 2 week vacation. When I return we will let you know how it went!

I joined 2 days ago via Lillian Vernon..very easy. Today I called connections and they gave me my membership number. If it's anything like the past..I'll order Sat or Sunday and have my vouchers by Tuesday or Wednesday. I prefer to actually order on line..I had to got to dealpass.com. It's very easy, and no waiting on hold to order form the website.
