Anybody having travel problems between Seattle and SNA?

We leave Thursday. Wondering how bad the travel situation is between Seattle and SNA/Burbank/LAX due to weather and Omicron? Anybody have any first-hand experience to share?

We just flew from SNA to PDX last night and noticed flights to Seattle were canceled due to weather.

I am in OC now visiting family and was supposed to fly to Eugene tonight but that flight was canceled. Not Seattle but Eugene, PDX and SEA don’t get snow often so when it does happen there can be problems with flights.

I just rebooked direct to LAX and cut Seattle out altogether. At least this way I'll be stranded at home rather than at SeaTac.

This was the right choice. We just left Seattle two days ago and most family is there and its a disaster.

I'm so sorry. Airport stranding is just .... awful on many levels.

You would think that with a name like Alaska the airline would know how to deal with Winter weather. But no. SeaTac does terrible with snow. They just don't have the equipment and experienced personnel to deal with ice
