I just found out I have a severe arthritus issue in my foot (gout)... and I have to go to a conference for my job to handle the PR in a few weeks... where I will be walking a LOT. I thought of trying the prima crocs for this... since I will have to dress up. My feet are very thin and I always seem to get blisters and very achey feet at the end of each day of these conferences. Since my recent diagnosis and attack with this issue.. I'm so scared of another "attack"....

Are Prima crocs worth it? I also considered the mary janes tho I'm not sure how "dressy" they look.

I don't know about the Primas, but I have MJs and I love, love, LOVE them! I have chocolate MJs and I wear them to work with brown and tan slacks quite regularly. I think they look fine and they are SO comfortable. I noticed that Dick's now carries the Primas online, so I guess they have them in the stores, too. I might have to go check them out! But I wanted to let you know I highly recommend the MJs!

I wear my primas to work and while they are not as comfortable as my caymans, they are way better than other ballet flats. You just have to try them and see what works for you.

I have the primas and they are cute, but I have to try and stretch the toe area b/c my toes are super squished when I walk. I wear a 7.5-8 and ordered the 7. I wouldn't recommend them for a lot of walking because they will not be as cushiony as regular crocs.

My recommendation is to get a relatively comfy pair of low-heel or flat dress shoes and put the Dr Scholl's gel inserts for women's shoes in them. I can walk around in my boots all day with those! :thumbsup2

I am a Crocs fanatic but the Prima didn't work very well for me. I guess my feet were too narrow (which I can't imagine--everything else is fat) because they kept slipping off my heels when I walked up steps. I have 3 pair of the Mary Janes now, and wear them a lot when I feel like being dressy. I ordered fake "Jibbitz" rhinestones (2 dozen for $6 from Oriental Trader) and will use them to dress up a pair of Crocs, probably the black Mary Janes, when I chaperone prom next year!

Just a note, I ordered mine today (Free Overnight Shipping on Zappos, Yippie! ) and was just too curious to see what they really felt like. The site said to order a size down and I headed to Dillards to see. It was true! I was really glad I ordered a size down, my "regular" size was too big and I felt like I was getting a blister already from walking around the store! So my word of advice is to order a size down. They felt so comfy to me, Looking forward to getting my pearl white primas tomorrow!

The Primas didn't work for me either. My regular size 9 were too small and my toes were squashed. I sent them back and got a 10, which were way too big. I was disappointed, as I looked forward to wearing them to work!:sad1:

ok, I was able to stretch the toes out a little. I put on a pair of socks, not too thin, but not super thick, either. I put on the shoes, and took a hairdryer just to the toe area to soften the shoe. As it cooled, I wiggled my toes around. It did mold it a bit, but the shoes are still a little too tight. They are fine when I am sitting down, but when I walk, ouch. I should soften the shoe then walk around, but doing that flattens out the shoe and it loses all support. I will try again. They are so cute, but so tight. oh well. can't return them now, so I'll have to figure something out!

Try putting them in the dryer for a few minutes. Then wear them around the house with a pair of socks. That worked for me.

I got my 10s and can walk right out of them. I got 9s and they're TIGHT... I'm SO UPSET! why don't they have half sizes?? I'm going to try to make the 10s work by putting them in the dryer and getting those heal pads. I really need these shoes for an upcoming conference... I have arthritus in my foot but am supposed to be dressy. :( Crocs are the only shoes that work right now. I really needed these primas to fit:(

CinRell, have you tried stretching out the 9's?

CinRell...I just came across the Nile, and it sounds like it might work for you...

I don't know if you've seen them, as not many places have them (like shoebuy! lol)

Anyway, I don't know if it's too late for your conference, but I would wear these as work shoes! :thumbsup2

p.s. that site, extremefootwear has free shipping!

I don't like the prima not comfortable, I have mary janes and the classic ones. my primas just sit in my closet. I even bought a size larger then i normally wear.

I stretched the primas out again this morning and wore them all day...my toenails are still sore. I'm about to give up on these darn things...
