I'm hoping to stop by the block party next Thursday, even if it's just to get into Pleasure Island for free. I just wanted to know how tonight's is.

Wish I was still there...we went last Thursday and had a great time. Unlimited fruit punch and lemonade (yes, really - this was a big selling point for my kids), carnival games (no cost to play and lots of fun prizes), video games all on "free play," give aways including light-up pins and visors, DJs and music, massages, face painting, and 2 free snacks - choice of Mickey bars, popcorn and cotton candy, among other things. There was also a raffle that was done right at 7 - we were there early, so went off to shop for a bit and ran back for the raffle - we didn't win, though.
Anyway, I thought it was worth attending. We combined it with DD shopping, and did not stay for Pleasure Island as we were tired.

The Block PArty sounds perfect for my kids! They will flip over free games....We will be at the party next Thursday :)

We were at the block party last Thurs also (the 3rd). We loved getting something for free for a change! It was not crowded at all, although there was a wait for face painting. It was fun. My daughter (16) and I went to the Comedy Club for 2 shows afterwards and also into the Adventurer's Club. It had been a long time since I had been to Pleasure Island, but now I want to go again, so I guess the Block Party is a good PR idea!

I'm hoping we're going to make it to the block party by 7 - it sounds like a blast, but we're going to be cutting it close. Will they still let us into Pleasure Island for free?

and did not get there early enough to get a pass for a free massage.DD loved the quiz and she won ablock with fifteen balloons.
Free ice cream and pop corn and a bar if youwish to indulge. :dance3:
