We went last year during the first weekend of October. It was Gay Days, so it was packed. But it was a lot of fun. We still got on a bunch on rides and saw all the shows. The decorations were pretty neat too..

I am planning on going this Oct purely for the decorations. I heard they have them up the last week in September, so I may try to get in one of those weekdays. There's a few threads around here talking about how packed October gets. Maybe do a search...

We go for Halloween multiple times starting Sept 21st. The HM is finished being decorated on Sept 20th, so we go the next day. Halloween is our Favorite Holiday! Maybe we will see you there!

Oh no, October is not that bad at all, I have experienced much much worse. We were their last year from October 16-18 I think (it was Tues-Thurs though), and it was fantasMIC! This year we are going for actual Halloween day, and we cant wait!!

We're booked from October 29 to November 5.

It's our first time going for Halloween and I'm really excited. We went first week in November the last two years, and last year I went back for the Christmas stuff one day.

I have never been to Disneyland in October. I didn't even realize they did anything special for Halloween until I joined this board. Looking at all the Halloween pictures makes me want to go and see it decorated for Halloween, maybe I'll do that this year

DD13 and I will be there Oct. 12th-16th. Ever since I saw the candy corn overlay on the California letters on the Esplanade, I've been excited to go in Oct.! All the decorations sure look neat from the pictures! Can't wait!

We are plannig on going October for 6 days but this is still all depending on how busy I am with school and how busy my husband is with his new business. Hopefully we'll be able to go because their is a lot going on right now that I need a little Disney magic right now because things are very stressful

My husband and I got married at Disneyland October 12, 2006, and we really didn't find the crowds to be that bad both before and after our wedding.... Also, the weather was WONDERFUL! I think October is a great time to visit the land!

we will be attending since we just purchased our ap's.
This will be our first trip during halloween so, i'm really xcited.

My oldest DD will be there with her Marching Band! They are going to be there on Nov 1st or 2nd. Are the Halloween decorations still going to be up?

She is VERY excited and a tad bit spoiled to be going 2 times in one year!!

She's excited...I could have volunteered to chaperone, but the thought of all those teens... !!!!!

We try to go every October. We love it! The decorations are great, last year they had even more so it was fun. The Haunted Mansion is all decked out, and the crowds aren't too bad. The weather is also good. We are planning on going again this October!

We've been the last two years in October and I think the weather and crowds are great. Last year we went to Mickey's Halloween Treat twice and had a fabulous time. This year we will be there Oct 6-12 and will do the Halloween Treat again for sure!!

We are going Oct 7-11. This will be our first Halloween trip as well. I am also curious about the Halloween party if any other members would care to enlighten me/us on this fabulous event.
