We're going to WDW Jan. 1 - 10 2005. Since it's just the two of us, we'd be happy to use the towncar again, but it occurs to us that perhaps an economy car @ Priceline might not be much more for 9 days. Any experience along these lines, keeping in mind that early Jan. seems to be a slow time at WDW and Orlando? What's the best daily rate you got through Priceline @MCO?

Thanks,
Bill Daniels

In my experience Priceline is pretty good for short term rentals, but for a weekly rate you can probably do just as good/better with codes and booking directly. I have seen rates as low as $14/day for smaller cars on Priceline...but at times they are much higher. Others may feel differently, but for a 9 day rental I bet you could do better on your own.

You can always try a low bid and if it doesn't work make other arrangements.

I used to be a PL bidder, but just tried Hotwire on a hunch and got a midsize, 9 days, at $11 a day!!!

I had to try twice to get it, the first time it showed and it took me to long to book, then the price went up to $13, but an hour later the $11 reappeared.

Hertz car.

So Happy!!!!!!
