We have been trying to sell our Fifth Wheel and F350 truck but have had no luck. We have listed them in our local paper but have only had 1-2 calls and it's getting too expensive to keep listing it that way. Has anyone ever used the on-line RV sales sites? I've found several (i.e., rvtraderonline, rvtrader, rvclearinghouse, etc) but I'm interested in other people's experiences. Just wondering if they are worthwhile, which one is recommended, or do you get alot of nuisance phone calls? I don't particularly want to put it on consignment at a local RV lot because I don't want to worry about it getting trashed, left unlocked, you know . . .

Thanks for any advice.

Take a look at Ebay, there are a lot of dealers also using them. Check out their listing's and then decide on how you want to do it.

I will tell you the best way to sell your truck and tt it's exposure...we spent a small mint on having our jayco tt advertisted for sell, and could not get rid of it, we only had in the 2 months time maybe 4 calls on it, finally we said ok this weekend we need to sell this thing, we asked a business owner on our busy hwy near-by if we could pull it there and leave it for the weekend to be seen, he said fine...well my dh took it up at 6:00 in the morning on a saturday and we stayed close to the telephone by noon saturday.. it was sold ! EXPOSURE, will sell it everytime...good luck !

Ebay! I have sold a motorhome and a pop-up on ebay. I have also purchased motorcycles and a car off ebay.

Not an RV, but we sold our F350 online last year within 24 hours of listing it. Used TruckTrader.

When we were looking for a truck, Truck Trader was suggested to us.

As for exposure, I think it works but depends. Everyday, at least 2x/day I drive by the same cute Class C with a For Sale sign on it. If the numbers on the sign were bigger, I'd have called by now. Not that we need a motorhome, or have money to buy one, or have space to store it, or anything, really, but it looks so nice. :)

we bought and sold ou first rv on ebay. pretty good experience both ways.
