Anybody ever dealt with group reservations before?

I am exploring the idea of taking a group of 9 high school students to WDW right in August for a planning/team building/leadership development retreat. Has anyone ever dealt with group reservations at WDW before? If so do you have any suggestions?

Basically we are looking at 5 or 6 days, daily itinerary would be park in the AM, "work" in the afternoon, parks after dinner. Trying to keep it as cheap as possible...have explored going late enough for free dining promo but I don't know if WDW will let me do that (would they?)


Anyway, TIA for any advice! I've been to WDW many many times but always with the family. A few of the kids in this group have never been and I want to share the magic with them too!

We just made a magical grand gathering reservation a few weeks ago for August for 11 people. It was really easy! I just called the grand gathering's number (sorry I don't have it number) and they hooked me up! I don't see why they wouldn't let you apply the free dining discount. It'll just be a matter of finding several rooms in the same hotel. That offer has been out for awhile and I know it's really popular. It's worth a shot, though!
