I'm liking this new game show. The contestants start out with $1 million and are given four answers to a question. They have to decide how much of the money to bet on each answer and whatever answers are not right, that money drops. As they move on the number of possible answers is lowered. After 7 questions, they get to choose one answer out of two and if they are right they get to take that money home.

I am kind of amazed at some of the lack of general knowledge. The couple just on put a lot of money on "Jenna's dad" as the answer to who was president when Justin Bieber was born. They even KNEW how old Justin Bieber was and when W was president. Luckily the host asked them those questions and they used a one time extra time option to switch things out. They still lost a lot of money, because they put it on George W's dad:confused3

The wife needs to lay off the coffee. Now they're on the Barbie question...I knew what the question would be as soon as they showed the answers.

I still haven't seen anyone win any money.

Did you hear about the post-it note controversy? A couple put $800,000 of their money on post-it notes as the answer and the show said it was the wrong answer. Turns out it was correct. They are going to bring them back on.

The first night this was on, the couple left with no $$ - same with the second couple. I thought it was a dumb game until the third couple walked away with $80,000. I think the couple last night left with $240,000.

I think it'll be the new "deal or no deal" craze for the winter.

And that fine summer replacement "Wipeout" (or, as I call it "Big Balls" is coming back in January.)

I'm so easily entertained.

I saw a couple win $200,000 the other day, unless it was a dream, LOL. They bet their whole $1 million on one choice until they got to question 4.

These guys are about to win $40,000.

Ugh...nevermind, they second guessed themselves:rolleyes1

I didn't hear about that. I did see that episode though, b/c the guy seemed to know the whole history of post-it notes.

They pick these type of people on purpose. It would be boring to watch cool calm & collected folks. Instead, they want people who are instantly attached to that million at the beginning & who will get all emotional over decisions & loses.

Its not yours until you walk out the door with it is how I look at it. I came with nothing, and if I leave with nothing, oh well. Guess I'll never be on the show. :lmao:

I saw the post it thing on Yahoo news. Sounds like a weird show to me. But it's funny to watch them. I'm still a personal fan of Jeopardy, now that's cool and collective. Of course I'm much better at the Kids Week.

Really? That was the night I watched. I'm really liking this show so far. :thumbsup2
