Anybody else use the DIS as a pre-cruise Mental Vacation?

I'm at the point where I can't get anything else done because I'm too busy on here obsessing about our upcoming cruise. 28 days and counting...

I'm the same way! Only my cruise is next summer. My house is going to be a mess by then!

Fun to see what everyone is doing. Post cruise for us and probably not another as we will visit the Mouse in Orlando next year. But here I can dream of my next trip...

Definitely. I'm at 728 days till our cruise and over six months since the last time.
My family has cut me off and I'm not allowed to talk Disney. If it wasn't for the boards I'd probably have an anureisim

Without a doubt! We have a year til our next one, Fantasy Eastern. Watching thread on Tortola port adventures (none are posted on the DCL site yet) for information, looking at trip reports and my favorite DCL picture of the day helps both get over just having to get off and looking forward to next
cruise.

Ooooooh where is that thread? I'm in same boat. May 2016 (I hope)

Guilty as charged. I love the anticipation. I love doing the trip countdowns as that MAGIC number gets smaller and smaller until it's HERE!!

After we get home, I stay off the boards for a little while because I am still in the glow of my cruise. Then it's back on again anticipating the next one.

We are 199 days out and I am obsessive about checking the boards daily. I love hearing about other people's trips and plans and can't wait until our cruise in February!

I have always felt the 'planning phase' was a very important and enjoyable part of any vacation! We booked passage on the maiden Med cruise and the maiden Baltic cruises on DCL. I think we booked the Baltic cruise like 20 months out! And that was my escape for 20 months! I use my 'internet surfing time' to research ports and compare shore excursions.
