This was soooo cute!

This past weekend (I can't remember which day it was but I think it was on 4/23) we were all waiting for the POP bus to come and pick our family up at MK to go back to the Resort.

Of course, there were buses flying around everywhere and just as our bus arrived we noticed a mama duck with about 10 little ducklings. She had led her ducklings into the road where all the buses were flying thru.

Everyone in our line was horrified. Just as I thought to myself how terrible it would be for all these children to see little ducklings run over by a bus, this CM that was dressed very nicely, comes out of nowhere starts trying to round all the ducklings up! It was sooooo very sweet! He finally got them to hop back over the curve and into the grassy area near our bus stop. Everyone around burst into applause. I only wish that I could have got my camera out of my bag to take a picture of that!!!

Gotta love those CMs!!! :cheer2:

That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard!! :thumbsup2

Aww that is so sweet! :goodvibes

My husband (not a Cast Member) would have been out in a heartbeat. He has rescued a turtle while at Disney World. Poor thing was trying to get across the busy Hess gas station parking lot. On a weekend. My husband stopped the cars coming into the lot until he could pick the turtle up and carry him over to the grass. And this wasn't the first time a turtle has been saved. He's done it twice before.

We love Disney World for it's nature. I don't think we've ever gone there and not seen something different in nature. A bunny, a family of ducks, feeding fish, whatever. Makes me slow down from everything and appreciate the beauty.

seeing the ducks and bunnies is one of my favourite things about disneyworld.I know we can see them anywhere but there is something magical about seeing them living their lives in such a magical place.

AWWWW!!!! What a wonderful story!!! We, too, loved the critters at WDW. Every morning we would walk to the main building at POR and see all the birds. My DD would feed the ducks her left over froot loops or cherrios on the way in!!!!

Aw! That's really sweat and extremely thoughtful. It would have been a shame if something had happened because all of the children were watching!
