Anybody else NOT mind the smell of SKUNK?

I was in my area last night and a skunk had obviously sprayed. And it occured to me that I really don't hate it. I mean, I wouldn't want to smell it all the time, but there is something about it....

Can't smell anything anyway, so I can honestly say I don't mind the smell. Of course, it also means that I don't know when the milk is starting to go sour either.

To me, it is the worse smell in the world. Nothing worse. I actually get ANGRY when I smell a skunk. I think laws should be passed to make it illegal to hit a skunk with your car.

I don't mind the smell of skunk unless it is incredibly overpowering. If it's just kinda hovering, then I'm okay with it. I wouldn't say I LOVED it.

Reminds me of an episode of Fairly Oddparents where Vicky was trying to get the attention of a British guy in her school named Winston Dunsworth. Timmy tried to ruin it for her by making her smell like a skunk but it backfired because he liked the smell of skunk because it "reminded him of the hunt" (said in a bad British accent)

Heck, we've had 3 get in the house over the last 35 years of this house being in my family. But luckily they didn't spray.

Me too! I left some fresh ground coffee in the car for a few hours and when I opened the door I could have sworn I was smelling skunk! Very strange.... but glad I'm not the only one
Didn't use to mind the smell until our dogs were sprayed by one last summer -and the goofball lab pranced around the backyard with a dead and smelly skunk in his mouth !. Now when I catch a whiff on the breeze I IMMEDIATELY check to see what my dogs are up to .....Hard to be indifferent once you've dealt with it "up close and personal" !

My Mother absolutely loves the smell of skunks. We have always referred the skunk smell as "Mom's perfume".
She grew up on a ranch and the smell brings back happy memories to her- and therefore to me too. Funny thing is my kids have heard my Mom talk about loving it for so long they don't even view the smell as bad.

I can think of stinkier stuff that a lot of people like the smell of - perfumes, pipe tobacco, and gasoline to name a few . I can't stand any of those, but skunk smell from afar or as I drive down the road doesn't bother me at all .
