Anybody else having trouble w/National's site?

I've tried using my AOL and Internet Explorer and when I get down to "Generate Rate Quote" it just sits there and won't go--it's like the link doesn't work. Even when I click "Open in New Window" it doesn't find the link.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?

Oh, and I am going through EA to reserve....

I had the same problem! I called National Internet support department and they added the coupon for me - call them at
1-888-501-9010 and they will take care of it. Looks like a webpage has a glitch..

I have been logging in via www.emeraldclub.com and have had NO problems.

It has happened to me a few times. If you scroll back up to the top of the page, there is a box on the left side that will say(at least in my case) either, the contract is not vaid, cupon has expired, code is not valid for those dates, or a variety of other reasons.

It has also told me once that there is no car avialability for those dates (because I had made a mistake in entering the dates, I had entered June 2004 to May 2004)

I have tried many times since Friday to get a quote either on the nationalcar.com or the emeraldclub.com websites. I have tried at home and at work. I finally called the tech support and they said they knew there were problems. I could see they have changed the website. The woman said it would just be a matter of a few hours or maybe even a day or so. I'll keep checking back. Hope this saves someone else some time.

Other than NOT getting those "great" rates everybody else is getting....no.

we leave THIS Wednesday & I'm fairly sure a Compact size rental with Avis for $185.54 April 21- 29 is the best I'll get.
Anybody who can get me into National using my Emerald Isle mbrshp within $5.00 of my Avis rental would be my hero.

Thanks for the idea about the pop-up blocker. I went and changed it to allow for them, but it still did not work on either site tonight. I hope they get this problem fixed, I love to keep lowering the price of my rental!!!! Thanks again.

No, I wasn't running a Pop up Stopper, but when I went in and registered my EA number(I had been just logging in with my name and number instead of registering) it then let me check rates. I think there is something wrong with the link on the page with the other one.

RalphMouth--good luck with your rates...have you been to Mousesavers.com and used some of those codes? It takes some time, but it is definitely worth it! I got my rate down much lower than it started out!

I went in today to check my rates, and the $20 off a weekly rental Ent coupon kicked my reservation to counter from EA. I was under the impression that only the upgrade coupons did that. I have my old ressie that says emerald aisle, so I didn't make a new one, but was confused by the error message.

Im trying to appy for the Emerald Isle membership- and hitting "submit" and nothing happens.

I went to mousesavers, then clicked on the Turner Travel link which automaticially sends you to the Emerald Aisle form....what a pain.
