I have such a hard time finding shoes, especially sneakers for Brittany. The heal keeps slipping up. Finally, a shoe store clerk told me it's because her feet are so skinny.

I've tried cheap shoes, expensive shoes, tie, velcro, bungie, it's all the same. I finally found her a pair of new balance sneakers today that fit OK. We looked for over 2 weeks.

I've even taken her to higher end stores where they will put a little pad inside the insole. It does not help at all.

DS11 has very skinny feet and he wears a 7 1/2 mens, so try finding a 7 1/2 AAA, even Nordstrom didn't have them and they have every size. For tennis shoes we buy them in the women's department, we have been lucky so far to find some that look like boy shoes and aren't purple and pink.

What size does she wear? We have had good luck with Aspics and Addidas running shoes for him, they are more narrow in the heal.

Oh, how I feel your pain! My DD 8 has always had "skinny feet". Finding her shoes to wear is just really an exercise in torture in my opinion. Summer shoes are better though, especially those that are open in the back. I was hoping she would grow out of it, but like her feet the rest of her is rather skinny. Oh well, what are you going to do. At least her feet are really pretty, well, you gotta think of something positive, is what I always say. :cool1:
