We are going the last week in August for our first trip in a decade and super excited to go but it just hit me we are going.

So in January I got time off work and it was no big deal

Talked to a WBC owner also in January and no big deal.

Booked ADR's at 180 out and again no big deal.

Then begging of the week I order offsite tickets, Memory Maker and World Tickets and still no Magic.

Today I get an email that our tickets have shipped:cool1: And oh boy I am like a little kid the day before Christmas. We are going to Disney World.

Anybody else get 1 small piece of the puzzle and all of a sudden it just all feels so real. Still months away but with tickets coming its so real.

I have different stages of excitement, I have booked DVC and got what we wanted, flights booked, dining plan booked, ADR's booked, Hire Car booked, Seats on aircraft booked, MNSSHP booked! For this first time I have to book Magic bands booked fastpass + memory maker, then ESTA and on line checkin!!!! So I have many different levels of excitement but DH and DS9 jut smile nicely and tell me well done, they are only interested in the end product. So YEAH to you and enjoy it as much as you can and I guess sometimes it takes one thing to get you going. TTFN

Yep! I never really believed we'd go to Disney World, dh told me to book and I did. Not really believing we would actually go. I then realized how much planning went into it so I quickly (we were already past the 120 days!) tried to figure all of that out on top of Christmas planning and just everyday stuff. Surprising the kids at Christmas was fun, but when it really hit me that we were actually going was when we got our magic bands in the mail! Each personalized with our names, it just really hit em then :D

I do too.

We went lady August. But we also went to Florida last April 2013 since my sister very nicely moved to southwest Florida (yay) and very close to many beaches. So yes we beach hopped.

Anyways, we went last April, we drove from CT, and when we were finally able to relax on the beach pretty much every day we enjoyed it. So I booked the auto train for April 2014 last may. Again, I couldn't wait to go back to those beaches and I knew a Disney trip was coming up.

I really was not that excited for that trip until about June/July. I couldn't believe it. But then it clicked....I am going to Disney....it had been 5 long years, well minus a DtD dinner stop on our way home last April.

We stopped there again this past April before the AT so that was exciting just to walk around DtD. But sadly next April we are flying and not driving thru Orlando so there will be no Disney stop. I am going to look at the BC and see how much for a night and if the rates are ok I may book it just so the kids can swim somewhere else other then my sisters pool and the beach.

So,enjoy your excitement...yay!

I usually start planning (obsessing) well before I can even book a package! So, it starts out all good...researching different resort options, planning our days, discussing with the family any must do's or must eats. THEN it starts to get close to when packages are released (like right now....waiting for October 2015!) and I am just a giddy ball of nerves!! And while I know once it's "officially" booked I will still have over a year to go, it's still so exciting bc that FIRST piece of the puzzle is laid!!

I have been completely obsessed ever since my DH and I returned from our trip in Oct w/out kids. I originally planned to take the kids back in oct 2015 so I got the disney visa to save up points. Then when free dining came out for DV holders I somehow talked my DH into booking for Nov. If we could get the BC. Based on he premise that it would be hard to take our oldest son out of school next year when he is in HS! It worked and now we are booked for this Nov 15-22nd!! I am on the DIS boards constantly reading every post!!LOL. My neighbors call me DISNEY WEIRD! Ha ha but I don't care!! YES I AM!!:) I can't wait!!

I know what you mean! When we finally got our Disney confirmation number and added our travel details to MDE it felt really real that we were going! So excited! :cool1:
