Anybody else get this email?

I saw this morning we had an email from Disney Destinations with the subject line of Important Information for Disney Destinations Email Recipients. Only good things come from those emails :cloud9: When I went to open it, there was nothing. It was blank :confused3 I used every way I know to pull up our emails and it was blank each time.

Anybody else get an email like this? Was it blank as well?
 
I just posted info. on the email I got on the resorts form.

It was a warning that a bunch of Disney Destinations emails were compromised and mine was one of them. It warned me to be on the lookout for spam, malware, viruses and/or scams being sent to my email based on the compromise.

I thought it was going to be something good too! :mad:
 
I got it too, at first I thought it might be fishing spam but there was a phone and no external link. Not too worried, I sign up for stuff frequently, so half of the free world has my email:rotfl:
 

Here is the email contents.

that your email address was exposed by an unauthorized entry into that
provider's computer system. We use our email service providers to
help us manage the large number of email communications with our
guests. Our email service providers send emails on our behalf to
guests who have chosen to receive email communications from us.

We regret that this incident has occurred and any inconvenience this
incident may cause you. We take your privacy very seriously, and we
will continue to work diligently to protect your personal information.

We want to assure you that your email address was the only personal
information we have regarding you that was compromised in this
incident.

As a result of this incident, it is possible that you may receive spam
email messages, emails that contain links containing computer viruses
or other types of computer malware, or emails that seek to deceive you
into providing personal or credit card information. As a result, you
should be extremely cautious before opening links or attachments from
unknown third parties or providing a credit card number or other
sensitive information in response to any email.

If you have any questions regarding this incident, please contact us
at (407) 560-2547 during the hours of 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (Eastern Time)
Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am through 5:00 pm (Eastern Time)

I have been getting SPAM email for the past month (about 10-12 every day) all coming from Disney Distinations. I have been working with a couple of people in the fraud department at Disney Destinations for the past month trying to see what is going on.

The first one that I got was offering me the $500 merchandise card for $395/$600 for $425 or $1000 for $750. I jumped on it just to be told that this was a spam (what???:scared1: I had gotten this offer in 2009 for my trip and was sooo excited). Then I got a couple with a PIN code for different offers for for Oct-Dec (I also jumped on those since I was planning a trip in December) but was certain when I called that it was not going to be valid since the fall PINs normally don't come out till sometime in the summer....I was right :guilty:

I was sooo happy to get this email today so I finally understood what was going on .

Thank goodness I called Disney Destinations directly each time I got one of these spam emails instead of clicking on any of the links in the emails.

Be careful Disboard friends, hope this helps us all stay email safe :hug:

I thought OK-great Disney Destination-now I know you have my email address in your system-send me a PIN!!

Yes, both my husband and I got blank ones too. Glad someone posted the contents.

:rotfl2: Maybe somebody was hacking in to get their name on the elusive pin list ;)
 
I got this email early this morning. I was so excited that I quickly opened up just to see that.:headache: Oh well, at least (as someone else stated) they have my e-mail address.:confused3
