I got an invitation from Disney to attend a DVC webcast. 3 dates were offered. It says it is a live webcast and I had to register for it. It's being offered June 10th, 11th and 13th. I signed up for June 10th. Should be interesting. When I signed up, they asked if I wanted a phone call reminder!
DVC sales must be really down?

I got one too! We attended a presentation in Rochester NY last year and signed on the dotted line, only to later decide we couldn't swing it with 2 kids in college. I figure we are on their, "We almost got them list!" because I have had a lot of snail mail and email from DVC. Now, if I could only get a pin code! :lmao:

I am sure I will sign up. Just haven't decided on the date yet.

I did, but I won't be watching. I've considered the resales, but can't imagine planning my vacations that far in advance to get the resort I want. I've decided that I'm waiting to travel until I get a special offer or great rate...not sure I'll be planning trips more than 6 months in advance anymore.

I got one too, but like Ann, I am interested in resales. Ever since we stayed in BWV for our pre and post-wedding stay (ceremony was Sea Breeze Point) and the attendent at the gate said "WELCOME HOME" when we pulled in, DH has been interested in that property alone. Even after I told him they say Welcome Home to everyone, he swears it was special, just for him. :goodvibes

Sounds very similar to the live presentation they had at Doorway to Dreams in Chicago in February - where we did indeed add on DVC points. The Vacation as You Wish theme was used there.

My co-worker-DIS buddy got one and forwarded it to me...DH is thinking about DVC...we might sign up for the webinar.

Yes I got one and signed up for the 10th. I've been going back and forth about DVC but I like to stay offsite sometimes so I haven't taken the plunge.
