Anybody else from Alberta?

I am from Nova Scotia, but still feel your pain. It seems we have been getting hit almost every Monday. But again not as bad as all you folks. I think were suppose to get more snow this Friday. Last Wed/Thurs was a mess and I ended up hurting my back shoveling.

My fingers are crossed for you all that sun comes and you are all able to make it out with your sanity.

Another Albertan here! We're south of St. Paul and we've also got the mountains of snow. To their credit the county has done a very good job clearing the rural road in front of our acreage. Life's been a bit inconvenient because we have "only" one 4 wheel drive vehicle, so we've had to share the one Jeep to get to work and back on the snowy days.

On the plus side it might be easy to convince my wife on the merits of another Florida trip!

Another fellow Edmontonian here!! I definitely sympathize, I am sooooo sick of the snow and the cold! This snow is crazy! I have been housebound except to go to work for the last week. My fridge is bare as I don't want to risk the roads from Morinville to Costco (outside of ST. Albert)....I am hoping Friday may be the day I finally get to Costco!
I am soooo looking forward to escaping for a week in Florida/WDW/Universal Studios/IOA in 16 days! Please, snow stay away so my flight from Edmonton can depart on FEB 5th!!!
Looking forward to that trip is what's keeping me

Good timing for your trip! As long as the pilots can see enough of the runway to takeoff you'll be outta here. When we left for our Christmas 09 trip it was snowing hard but once we were deiced, we were off into the sun like a homesick angel.

It was finally in the +'s today (I worked all day, but it was still +1 when I left tonight at 7:30). It is supposed to be around that for the next couple of days. Please melt some snow...I literally saw 4 cars buried today from the snow plows...its going to take some serious muscle to dig those cars out!

There was still a windchill today though, so it certainly didn't feel warm after 10 minutes outside!
