Anybody drive a lime green VW bug?

Someone who works at the Home Depot by my house drives a lime green VW bug with a black Mickey antenea topper? I always wonder if it is a DISer! I checked the VW site and lime green is not a color that is offered.

It may not have been offered this year, but it has been in the past. I drive a Yellow one with a Yellow Mickey topper on it!

My cousin drives a lime green bug. She has had it for about 3 years now so it was definitely an older color.

Just had to respond.

We have a VW bug. What color to get was a MAJOR source of contention in our household.

My oldest DD 16 was dying to have the green one - it is her favorite color.

DD 13 said no way on the green, blue was the only cool color.
DD 5 is crazy for anything yellow, so you know her vote.

I thought red was flashy and fun.
DH and DS were still trying to convince us that a truck was the better option.

We ended up with charcoal grey. Mostly because we bought a used TDI and there were not a lot of choices. But ended up OK. I did NOT care for the green ones at all at first - but don't mind them now.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if that's what DD ends up with when she buys her own car.
