If you have, would you recommend it four our family of four? Have two daughters ages 11 & 8. We are young at heart, but the kids found the Pirates tour at WDW to be a bit too childish.

I see you also get 6 rides on "classics" during the tour, does that mean the Matterhorn or Dumbo? Classic for me is Indy, POC, Space Mtn., Splash Mtn, BTMR, etc.

Do you learn anything on the tour?

I would also like to know this...:)

We did the tour in November and had lots of fun but we were the only family on the tour and that may have had something to do with it. My older dd was a tad embarrassed by all the silly stuff we did when we went from place to place but in the end she enjoyed it.

You don't get 6 rides on classics, you visit 6 classic attractions. We rode 4 rides and visited 2 locations.

It's more of a scavenger hunt type of thing than learning anything about the park.

I don't want to give everything away, but I will be happy to tell you more if you want to know more or have specific questions.

We also did the tour in December. My son was 11 years old and really thought it was silly at first; but we were doing it with our younger cousins and they loved it, so I think that made it easier for him. :goodvibes My other son is a couple of years younger and he really go into it.

The younger kids (ages 8 and younger) really got into it and our guide was great fun. :thumbsup2 She was really into the part. She also engaged each of the kids, so that made it exciting for them.

It was perfect for us and our situation. We were having a family reunion and everyone but us lives in CA. The cousins go to DL all the time and have done EVERYTHING, while our kids are still discovering DL. This was one thing that the cousins had never done, so the kids got to "explore" it together....It was fun for us. ;)

Hope that helps.
