Hey Amy, DD is enrolled in UNH for the fall and we are still splitting a set of hockey season tickets with my sister. Maybe we ought to have a mini-DIS meet at a Hockey East game ....down in Boston or up here in NH

OOPS...didn't mean to hijack...let me get on track by pointing out that MIracle is a great movie and the hockey theme makes it even mroe special for some of us

Well I don't have a car up there to get to NH, but give me a heads up if you go to a BU or NU game. Though I'm not going to lie, I've gotta root for my Huskies

Oh yeah, no hijacking..Miracle...GREAT MOVIE! The part when he screams out "Mike Eruzione....and I play for....THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" just makes me wanna cheer. There's an HBO documentary about the real Olympic team that is quite interesting as well.

I will rent it to watch but I will not buy it. Mind you I like the statement he makes about trying to use the Canadian and Russian systems for his Team atleast he used a great nations background in hockey to help his team win hehehehe

Can't wait till the next winter games I hope the NHL and NHLPA get a CBA worked out or the IOC isn't going to allow the NHL players to play in the Olympics and you can bet the Europeans will find a way to get their players in but Canada and the US will be left on the outside looking in.

I have it downloaded on the computer, but I really wanted it on DVD, much better quality. Grr...oh well. Sex and the City for me tonight.

I just bought it at Costco as an early Birthday present for myself!! My two year old saw it and started screaming "hockey movie, hockey movie....." I think the whole warehouse heard him!

I got it yesterday at Costco, along with the Walt Disney Treasures DVD's On The Front Lines, and Tomorrowland. Overall, a very poductive Disney DVD buying day. I haven't watched it yet, but since I lived through it, I decided that it would be a great addition to my DVD collection. Especially since I grew up watching my older brother play hockey when he was a kid. I just am a definite hockey fan.
