Anybody been to Myrtle Beach bike week?

DH wants us to go and I really don't want to. I like riding our Harley, but I'm not a bike week kind of girl. I love the beach, eating seafod, etc. - not seeing hundreds of guys in doo-rags and women in halter tops.
Plus it's rather cool weather for May here in SC and I like riding when it's warmer. It's in the 50's in the mornings and at night and that is cool on a motorcycyle. Especially since the beach is 4 hours away.
He has had me on a huge guilt trip about it and right now I think the Harley is coming between us. Funny I know, but I'm mad. When he got it, we did take several fun trips to the mountains, etc. - but BIKE WEEK!!???? I hate to take three days off work for something I think I will hate. And we'll be staying with another couple that I don't even know. DH works with the husband of this couple and they offered us the 2nd BR in a condo they rented for a week. We would only be there two nights. We're in our mid 40's - they are in their late 20's. Sounds like fun. I think DH is having a mid-life crisis and I really don't want to join in.
So has anybody actually been at Myrtle Beach during Bike Week? How is it?

DONT GO!!! We have been down there when they are either coming or leaving and it is quite roudy down there...dont plan on sleeping cause all you hear are the sounds of harleys at all hours of the night up and down the main strip......

There are 2 couples on DS's travel soccer team who go every year and they don't fit the stereotype of "biker"..... Both couples are in their 40s', professional jobs and upper middle income lives. Knowing them, if they fit in I think most people would who like a good (but not out of control) party and a variety of people. Definitely a "don't judge a book by it's cover" crowd. YMMV though..

What's YMMV???? I'm terrible with abbreviations.

I did note that 3 bikers were killed on the FIRST DAY!!! All collisions with cars. It does sound rather dangerous. I have been planning on living to be old. They ranged in age from 25 to 54 in three separate incidents.
