Any word on VB and any effects from Wilma?

Hope all is well. Haven't heard if it survived ok.

1) No electrical power
2) Hardly any food left
3) Some wind damage

I know that my dad's place in Pompano Beach, right on the Atlantic, suffered major damage!!! They are in a 12 story condo bldg, on the 9th floor. Four units per floor. Many walls are gone on the west facing side of the bldg..his side which faces east (Atlantic view) and south to Miami, lost many windows even with the storm shutters up. His unit has no more glass in it!!! A lot of water below. I can only imagine that VB is about the same. At least they were on the upper left side as Wilma departed...Palm Beach and Pompano Beach were in that dreaded upper right quadrant!

When I called this morning, they had no power.

They said they were taking care of the people at the resort but not allowing any new guests to check in.

Where are all these people going to go for food? There aren't a lot of places in town open.
