Then you can price everything out separately and see what it would cost with no discounts. Room only discounts are never guaranteed, so I wouldn't count on that when making a decision. I do not know of any way to get a discount on passes upon check in, unless you are eligible for a military discount. I think you can get an advance purchase discount by buying from certain reputable ticket sellers, like Hotwire Savings Club. You can definetly figure in those savings when comparing separate pricing to the pkg. Also take into account which parks your family will visit, as the pkg will allow you entry into the 4 major parks, the water parks, PI, and DQ. You will have to pay for some of these admissions separately if buying the tickets yourself, but they will usually be available at a discount (prepurchase) and some tickets never expire, so unused days can be used on subsequent trips. I was actually considering the pkg (and we already have 2 of 3 necessary APs) but a kind soul on this board was good enough to point out that even if there were no room only discounts, I would be paying more than doing everything separately. This may work out different for you, since you do not have any tickets yet. Put it all down on paper and compare.
