I found out they changed there "week". It used to be 10 days. You had 10 days from your meeting to attend another meeting, before it was considered a "missed" week.

So, if I weighed in on a Tuesday, I would have until the following Friday to weigh in. They even had the "attend next meeting by...." on your card.

Well, I was told they changed that. A week is now Sun-Sat. You need to attend a meeting any day in that week, and you won't be late. That is great for the people who attend Mon, Tues, Wed meetings. It means you can go ANY day the next week, and not be late.

What about Saturday? Do those members lose out on even 1 day's grace period? I switched to Tuesdays because the 1st Saturday I missed, I went in on Tuesday, and I was considered I "missed" my meeting. Luckily, they had the pay no missed meetings fee promotion, so i didn't have to pay. But, come on! I missed a meeting, go in 2 days later, and I would of had to pay?

I don't get it. :confused3

I guess they want those that attend meetings towards the end of the week to come in early if they are going to miss. Of course I don't suppose that helps when you wake up sick or something. Have you posed this question to your local group? Maybe they have a better answer. I attend on Wednesdays so this hasn't been a problem for me and I haven't really ever thought of it.

You should probably just ask your leader, because I've found that different leaders handle it differently. I've had a couple who were very strict with the missed meetings, but then I found one who doesn't charge at all for a missed meeting up until like 4 weeks when she absolutely has no choice. She wants to do everything she can for her members to make sure they can come to meetings. :goodvibes

She's a real gem.

Our WW weeks have always been an actual week- Sunday through Saturday.

Same here. I have never heard of the 10-day thing. The only time we get a grace period is if our regular meeting is on a holiday and the office is closed.

Never had the "10 day" deal here either. Or when I was a member in Ga. It was always a 7 day deal.

When I did ww on went on saturday mornings before the gym. Why wouldn't you want to go on the same day every week so you can know how much you truly weigh each week? :confused3 Having a grace period defeats the purpose of trying to lose a certain # of lbs each week.

Even though my leader is more lenient, we always had the 10 days even with the stricter leaders.

Just because, with 3 kids, and a busy life...attending EVERY Saturday is not possible. I switched it to Tuesday, so I could make it every week. I dod miss Tuesday a couple of weeks ago, so I went on Saturday after dropping the kids off at the YMCA. It just got me thinking, because I want to go back to Tuesday, so I skipped this past Saturday.
