Any way to get some money back without canceling?

We have paid in full for a Dream cruise later this year that we may end up moving back. I would like to be able to "cash out" some of the money we have paid and move the cruise to a different date using only the minimum deposit. Is there any way to do this without canceling and rebooking? I assume the answer is "no" but thought it was worth asking. This reservation is an OBB and was at one time concierge so canceling would cost us the OBB benefits and the ~$900 deposit which becomes non-refundable once it is used for concierge.

OBB perks are not available on Concierge bookings.

It seems you must just cancel and make a new booking. But, call DCL and see if they will work with you to transfer the deposit to another cruise and return the extra monies paid (as long as it is before the Paid in Full date for that cruise).

One note, if you are able to transfer the deposit, it will remain non-refundable, even if you transfer it to a non-concierge room.

Thanks Princess Shmoo. The reservation was switched to a non-concierge reservation so the OBB benefits are back, but, unfortunately, as you mentioned, the non-refundable deposit remains! Hate to lose the deposit but may need to if I can't get the rest of the money back.
