I would love to be able to plan a trip for my family in Oct. or Nov. Any thoughts on getting a good last-minute deal?

Hmm.. there are so many great ways to do this.

First I think today is the last day for a resort code. Check www.mousesavers.com for that information.

Off site hotels (yes, less expensive) can be pretty inexpensive. For example, we just came back from a 14 day stay at a Hampton Inn.. our rate (non priceline) was $39/night with breakfast included.

As for discounts on passes, you could always go on www.ticketmania.com or other things to find deals.

Sometimes you can call the hotel directly for a good deal as well.

Hope that helps!

Go to www.Skyauction.com for resort deals. Also do a search on e-bay under orlando resort, orlando timeshare, orlando rent, orlando vacation, or orlando condo.

Also, I can put you in contact with someone that helped me. Just e-mail me at jconce4986@msn.com and I'll give you his number. I got the Marriott Cypress Harbor for 400.00/week. I just got back and had an awesome time.

Hope this helps.

I'm with Joe, I was just on SkyAuction.com, there are some great deals, I think seven nights at AmeriSuites was going for $33 night a few minutes ago.

If you have time to surf some sites, private home owners are always running last minute deals on rental cancellations.

Best of luck! You can also look on roomsavers.com. Find out what hotels are currently offered. The partners usually stay the same. Sometimes you can even make ressies.
