most travel agents and DCL itself have about the same price but some travel agencies offer a rebate or shipboard credit like Dreams Unlimited!
We booked through Dreams Unlimited for the rebate AND shipboard credit and because they will continue to check for any specials running for you and then credit you accordingly.
The Wonder is going to be in dry dock some of October 04. You might not get to go depending on when you can travel. According to the he DCL web site, there are no cruises between Oct 3 & 17th.
My son and his wife just booked for 10/16/04 Eastern through Dreams Unlimited and they saved them literally hundreds of dollars! They were fast to respond and very nice. I would not hesitate to go through them in the future.
The biggest advantage of booking it thru a travel agent is they will possibly be on the lookout for any discounts that can be later applied after you book. DCL will not, what you book at is what you pay.
Now, I say possibly, in that I've never booked a cruise with anyone other than Dreams. They in particular never fail to beat expectations in keeping a good eye on our reservation.
I used Costco about a year ago and their travel group saved me about 200 on a family of four for a three day. It wouldn't hurt to contact them. I would also check out dreams as it seems people have had success with them as well.
Hi! We just booked our first cruise with Dana of Cruise Planners - www.micdan.com - & she was the best rate even w/ Dreams rebate (they were not offering a shipboard credit). It might be worth looking into. Happy planning!!
