We are going 9/10-9/20 (starting Fri after Labor Day). I have read here that Sept is a great, uncrowded time to go to WDW. My concern is all the great special rates they have released. I'm thinking that with all the extra advertising and codes, a ton of people will choose this month to go..... Plus I heard that bookings in general are up at WDW.... How do I get a better idea?

The only way to find out is to go! Kind of a double-edged sword.
ADP :D

On page 32 of the UOG they say that the crowds have grown quite a bit in the months of September and October due to special promotions aimed at locals and the international market. Hence, touring continues to be good for the weekdays at MK, MGM and AK. Epcot is good on the weekends.

So basically, who knows! LOL!

I going September 12-18 and I do not think crowds will be an issue. I always tour in the off season. Even if attendance is up from other years, the parks are so large that they can easily absorb an increase in attendance.
