Good evening, all!

Just wondering if any of the rides are water-based on which we are likely to get wet? I don't think we'll be wanting to go on any of these in mid-November as walking round in the cold soaking (or even a teensy bit) wet doesn't appeal.

none whatsoever :goodvibes. Big Thunder Mountain is on an island and outside obviously, so that can be fun when its pouring rain!

You might get a little wet on Pirates of the Caribbean, as there are 2 dips on that ride so you might get splashed (but you won't get soaked).

Thank you!! Methinks I will send my DH onto POTC first to check out the wetness before trying it myself. :rotfl:

You don't get actually wet on pirates. Highly a few drops of water. We've had just about every place in the boat right now and the most you'll be getting is a few drops when going up. It splashes with the drops but it is designed in such a way that it doesn't splash over the boat but just around it, so back in to the water. It's nothing compared to most log flumes so don't worry, you won't be needing rain ponchos or anything for it. :thumbsup2

I rode pirates like six times when I was there and didn't get wet at all until the very last time and got absolutely soaked, I don't even know what happened to be honest! Just this huge splash of water out of nowhere, and it totally missed my friend sitting beside me, so unfair! It was somewhere near the end of the ride and I remember the boats kept bumping together so that might have been why haha.

But yeah unless you are super unlucky like me it shouldn't be more than a few drops of water! :p
