Any VISA cardholders actually contacted about free dining?

If you have the Disney VISA, did you find out from them or from this site (or another site)? We book a Sept trip last year, and then free dining was announced. Luckily, I head on this site, or we woudl have paid for it like we planned to.

Just wondering how many cardholders have actually heard directly from Chase about this offer...

I called Disney Visa and was given the CRO phone number and code to use when I call on Monday. She did confirm that it was free dining and the date to call, but she didn't have details such as dates it is available for, etc.

I usually find out about discounts/specials from the boards and this is a good example - I have no idea what you are talking about but would love more information since i have a disney visa card and will be going in August, could you please post the CRO phone number so I could get more.

Would love to find out if I can take advantage of free dining.

I never heard anything from Chase either. I've been checking their website and they don't even have any Disney offers available!

I think I read on another post that visa cardholders would be informed on April 9th???

It has been determined that they are offering FREE dining at WDW 8/26-9/22 this year. To get the free dining, which includes one counter service meal, one table service meal, and one snack per day per guest, you need to book a package at a Disney Resort that includes your room and at least one day of park admission. You need to check in on a day that falls within these dates. If you do that, you will get the Disney Dining Plan for free. The plan normally costs about $40 per day per adult, and $11 per day per child under 9.

Disney Visa holders are going to be given priority to book this deal first, starting tomorrow morning. All you have to do is call the Disney reservations number and book a package and use your Disney Visa to pay the $200 deposit. Give them code: ZHQ and the free dining will be added to your package.

I called Chase (Disney Visa) on Friday and was told that cardholders would be eligible for free dining from Aug 26th through Sept 22nd with a minimum 5 nite stay. The code kicks in on Monday April 9th for Visa cardholders - and she said there were only so many rooms available with the code. For non-cardholders, the rate goes into effect on April 12th for booking. I miss dining AGAIN by 2 weeks!!!

We are staying at Boardwalk villas so not sure if I can get the free dinning but i do need to purchase a pass so I'll call & give it a try - certainly can not hurt to ask

I just went to Mousesavers.com and the free dining is posted. The only difference is that Mousesavers is quoting a 3 day minimum and Visa told me 5 days. Hope this helps!

If the new package is similar to the one offered for the past two years, it will require you to purchase at least 3 consecutive hotel nights at an official Walt Disney World resort, plus at least a one-day theme park ticket, and you will get a FREE dining package (one counter service meal, one table service meal and one snack, per person, per day) for the length of your stay.

I didn't get an email or anything from Chase. I found out about the rumors on this site, and called to confirm with Chase Disney on Saturday. I called my AAA agent this morning, and she hadn't heard anything about it either. She went ahead and called Disney for me and changed my reservation. She then thanked me for doing her job for her! =)
