Any veternarians or dog breeders out there?

I have a female dog, not spayed, due to the fact I show her in confirmation. I have an agility show coming up and I'm afraid she may go into season during the show. Anyone out there know about something called check-drops? I heard its supposed to prevent them from coming into season. I never heard of it and don't know the side effects if any,. I have an appointment with her vet on the 22nd so I'll ask her then, but I just wanted some insight if anyone had any about this drug before I went. I heard its pretty pricey too. Anyone know anything?
