Any VEGANS out there??

Hi all. Are there any vegans out there? Where do you dine in the world???? In October, 2010, it'll be my first time dining as a vegan.... and I need HELLLLP!!!!

Not a Vegan but my daughter is allergic to dairy products. Disney is awesome. Make sure you note it when you make the reservations. Also they have a person whose whole job is to help people with special diets. I forget her name but you could call and get it. She will send you lists of 'safe' products at all of the snack and counter service places. My daughter has been very happy b/c DW is the only place she can ever have dessert in a restaurant.

I'm not a vegan, but my daughter and I are both allergic to milk. We were able to eat all sorts of amazing things including ice cream all over the place. My daughter also had mac & cheese all over as well. They use Galaxy vegan slices and you can get Silk or Pacific Rice milks all over plus Tofutti or Rice Dream ice creams all over. Contact special diets. Info can be found in the stickies on the disABILITIES board.

When we stayed at Pop Century in February, the head chef was telling us that he had a vegan guest staying at the same time so he had ordered a special order of vegetables. He made me up an amazing stir fry with all sorts of things that he normally didn't have in stock. Definitely get in touch with special diets as they can help arrange for this sort of thing.
