Any updates to LTT lunch menu?

I haven't dropped my mid January ADR for lunch yet. Hoping the old menu comes back. Was wondering if anyone has heard anything more about it. Thanks!

I went for lunch last week. There was the all-you-can-eat option, the burger, the salad and the pasta. I ordered the kid's turkey dinner and my waitress said that the adult version was available for the holidays if I wanted to order that. I stuck with the kid's portion as I didn't want stuffing and it was huge! More than enough for an adult. I almost wonder if that is the actual kids size served or if she got the kitchen to make a bigger plate. It was delicious too.

Most of the tables around us were eating the all-you-can-eat option. Also, almost every table was filled and our reservation was for 2:50. I haven't been there for about 4 years and when we made the last lunch reservation like that we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. I mentioned my surprise about how many people were there and she said they now stay open continuously between lunch and dinner. They used to close for an hour between lunch and dinner to prep, so that explains why we used to be the only ones in there.

I wouldn't expect the old menu to return. Most Disney-owned restaurants are going to an all-day menu, versus a lunch/dinner menu. It's cheaper for the prep, allows them to stay open, and also cheaper in terms of "supplies on hand and storage."

Is it supposed to revert back to the old menu? I was hoping but I really didn't think they ever would?

I think they may have implied without ever really saying they would when they returned some scathing unsatisfied guest emails with a phone call... They didn't say they would, just that they had a lot more backlash over this decision than they expected and there might be changes coming to address that.

That said... I think they are going to let people get over their shock and then continue to do what is easier for them. Who knows, the changes might be eliminating everything but the AYCTE option all together... be careful what you wish for!

We were there on Dec 9th at 11:30am. We had the pilgrim's platter and were very disappointed. The food came out immediately and the buns and honey butter were the highlight for sure. We were shocked by the huge basket (8 little buns for 2 people) but we each had 3 since the rest of the food was basically inedible. The turkey was dried out, the beef was so rare it was basically raw and the pork was so tough we couldn't cut it. The stuffing and green beans were cold and the cranberries had a weird taste. The only thing my DD ate was the mashed potatoes. We skipped the salad and bread pudding and cut our losses. The dining room was packed so I guess they have no shortage of customers. We used to always get the pot roast or turkey dinner in the past and it was always great. We will definitely NOT be back for this menu.

I don't expect the menu to change, even though I'd wish it would. This favorite has been removed from my list. I did send in my feedback/disappointment. I was there for two weeks in October and the menu changed while we were there, so we did experience the new menu. We shared our disappointment while there too.

We were there Dec 12th. My DH had a burger, I had the Colony salad with chicken. Most of the tables around us seemed to be ordering the all you can eat feast. So I guess it is popular & won't be going away.

The vast majority of visitors don't know there was an "old menu" and don't care. I wouldn't look for it to return anytime soon.
