Any updates on YC renovations?

Hi Guys and Gals,
Just got a message from my sis that she booked us a 4 day trip to YC starting on 7/12. Needless to say I'm thrilled. She's a travel agent and was able to get concierge waterview for $264.50 ( that includes tax). I think that's a decent price, no? Anyways, my real question to anyone who's been there recently is the status of the painting? Last I heard they were working on the rear entrance. Any updates would be appreciated. Thanks and good day.

Don't know about the update on the renovations but for that price for waterview concierge I wouldn't care!! AAA rate of $399.50 was what we booked and were glad to get it off of rack rate. You'll love this place.

We will be at the YC soon. We requested Water View and I'm worried about the construction. Should it be a problem? Was anyone just there?

That is an unbelievable great price, can she book it for us? That is one good travel agent. Rack rate is $474 before tax.

Hey there Sammie,
The only reason she can get that rate is because she's going on the trip herself. It's a nice perk they offer travel agents. I'm sharing a room with her so I get to benefit as well. Lucky me!
