Any updates on the buffet breakfast at Confisco's???

I had read on these boards that they were going to start a breakfast buffet at Confisco's. Has this started and has anyone experienced it????

We just went last Sun. The buffet was basic, not much to it. Thing One and Thing two and Cat In The Hat were there. There were only a couple of tables with people so the characters spent a lot of time visiting with everyone. We had fun, but again, the food isn't anything to write home about.

Thanks for the update crazyme5kids, I was wondering about this new meal also. I am sad to see the food was uneventful. I have always enjoyed my meals there in the past and always include a lunch each trip. Heres hoping Randy can shake things up a bit!

I'm sure the lunch and dinner meals are still great. I think it just needs time to develope a better game plan for the breakfast buffet. I would go again, but I usually go for the characters and if the food is good I consider it a bonus. We ate breakfast at Trattoria one morning too, I thought it wasn't that hot either. I have to give Disney credit where due, they do have good food for the breakfast buffets.

It's a character breakfast???? I had no idea. I just thought it was a full breakfast buffet. Thanks for the update. I will definitely have to check it out.

Can you give a basic idea of what was served. Was it more of a continental type breakfast or were there hot items as well. We'll be there in October for HHN and we've always enjoyed our lunches/dinners at Confisco's.

They had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, some type of fajita thing, the usual muffins and pastries and cereal. Really not much to it food wise. We did enjoy it though.

Yeah I think it was around that price, $14.99 is in my head, very reasonable.
