Any "unusual Character sightings" since May 5th?

When we visited in December 2004, we met Mulan in China at Epcot.

We also saw Koda with Kenai on the Holiday Bus in Epcot, along with King Louie, Friar Tuck, Robin Hood, The Sheriff, Gideon & JW Fowlfellow, Terk, Wendell, Timon and Pinocchio.

We spotted Hercules & Phil and Evil Queen from Snow White upon entering MGM Studios but they were just leaving so we'll have to get their photos next time.

Our friends had metioned the elusive Donald Duck so we booked the Breakfastosaurus at AK to make sure DD3 met him (he's her favourite) but we saw him everywhere we went! Eventually got Daisy Duck on the last day of our vacation, along with Donald, at the trailers on Mickey Avenue in MGM. The other trailer featured JoJo and Goliath so our DD was delighted!

Where in Epcot? I'm assuming they don't sign.

The hippos were near the fountain in Future World. I didn't ask for an autograph so I don't know if they sign or stamp.

We saw Koda with Kenai in Canada at Epcot on our May 9-20 trip this year. We had just finished eating at Le Cellier and saw them as we were getting DD4 back into the stroller. The line was very short so we got pics. and autographs. We found Donald in Toontown this trip in the tent where you stand in line for different characters. We were very happy because we have missed him on previous visits.

I feel that I should point out that the Hippos and Ostrich were out at Epcot as part of the Flower and Garden Festival character weekend. Other added characters **just for that weekend** included all 7 Dwarves in Germany, the Country Bears in Canada, the Incredibles at Mission: Space, Alice characters by the Land, Toy Story characters at American Adventure, and Lilo and Stitch (not sure where).

Thanks for posting the pics bizeemom4. I wish I could have been there that day, I've never seen the Fantasia characters before.

My character mission for this trip will be Hyacinth Hippo and her friend and the ostrich. It'll be my obsession - my very patient fiance thanks you. :rotfl:

Wow! I never heard of Fantasia characters out and about, either (besides Sorcerer Mickey, of course!)!! So cool to see Madamoiselle Upanova and the two hippos (I assume one is Hyacinth!)! Nice to see Disney acknowledge such a classic movie as Fantasia! Thanks for the photo! :) :)

I hope Chicken Little is enough of a hit movie so that the character will still be out this summer when I get there! :teeth:

The one thing we did notice is that the Villans seem to be gone. The only villan we saw for 10 days was Hook. :firefight

We recently saw a float with only villans during the
Share a Dream Come True Parade at MK. We saw: Jafar, Malificent, Cruella De Vil and Ursula.

I grew up reading Disney Comics and my favorite character is Uncle Scrooge McDuck. I have never been able to find him but a couple years ago, someone posted a picture from their trip and Uncle Scrooge was in the background.

Thanks for that info atlfan4.

We saw the penguins in MGM and the snow white witch never seen them again. Long long ago we saw the teenage ninja turtles :cool1:

Angel's Mom,

That picture was taken in Sept. 2003 at the castle for breakfast. It was my daughter' s 2nd trip.

The last few times we have seen Aroura she was in her pink dress.

Thanks,
Frank :wizard:

On May 14th I saw Jiminy in EPCOT and all 7 dwarves with Snow in Germany! It was a very lucky day for us! Good Luck finding new characters.

My best hard-to-find character was the Evil Snow Queen we say last Friday at MK. She was next to the photo shop and was next to Mary Poppins. The interaction was hysterical.
The Snow Queen kept asking me if she made me nervous. I said "Yep, you do". She truly had me flustered tryng to get the autograph books out and pens ready for both girls. She was perfectly in character. My DD's were in hysterics seeing her interact w/ Mary Poppins. They played up the good vs. evil thing. It was fun seeing 2 face characters actually talking w/ each other.
A fun thing for us to do was hang out at the back of the camera shop. That is where the characters come in and out from. Belive me, they stay "in character" until they are completely out of sight.
On the other hand I was very disappointed in the lack of characters I see on the "Character Extravaganza" in EPCOT. I saw less characters than I do a nornal day at MK.

We saw Chicken Little in MGM last week.
A few characters we haven't seen before others may have included Buzz, Woody and
Bonnie :earsgirl:

Thank you!

When we were there in October we saw tons of characters - even the ones you have said are hard to find! I'm feeling lucky! :rotfl: We easily found Donald - since it was the Halloween party, he was dressed as a jack-o-lantern, and tons of Villians, too. My dd2 was dressed as Snow White and when we met the Evil Queen (she was silent) I told my dd to tell her SHE was the fairest of them all! The Queen glared at me and got down in my dd's face like she was truly about to cast an evil spell on us both! I laughed out big and loud so my dd wouldn't be scared - but she was TRULY in character! And she really played up the fact that my dd was TRULY Snow White. In fact, every character did that. They all called her by name ("Hi, Snow White?! Where are your dwarfs? ....etc...) and that was the coolest part of the Halloween party. My dd really believed she was Snow White for the night. We also met Ratcliffe from Pocahontas, Jafar, Malificent, and we saw Cruella but didn't meet her. Alice & Mad Hatter were WONDERFUL and so were Jasmine and Aladdin (MGM). We saw Mary Poppins with some penguins but didnt meet them. We also saw Hercules and Meg, but didn't meet them. My favorite of all was when we got to meet Belle at Storytime with Belle. My dd was so in awe of her that it brought tears to my eyes. I whispered to her to tell Belle what her middle name is (its Belle, too!) but she was in such shock that she couldn't think of her own middle name!!! She leaned toward me and whispered..."what is it, mom?" PRECIOUS!!
