I am new to pin trading, and have just started collecting from Ebay and DLRP, and the ones I am collecting are Pirates of the Caribbean, plus any Parks I have visited, plus any commemorative ones. My DD and DS are collecting Princesses and Stitch, plus their favourite rides / attractions / characters. Just wondering if there were any other UK collectors using this board, and hoping for any tips!

I am not sure about tips but i am in Spain but am english. I have a growing collection. If you or your children speak a little french try the french e.bay site as you can pick up som really good pins at reasonable prices.

We are going to DLRP at the beginning of december but if you are there on the 17th of december in the Hotel New York there will be a pin trading event. I was at one in May and had a great time

Thanks Bonitatime...we will be there on the 17th December, but don't know if we will have time to detour to the HNY as we only have a weekend to take in all the Christmas stuff, and I am sure it will be rushed as it is.

We are into pin trading big time DD (7) collects Minnie pins, Jasmine pins and Cat Pins. DS (8) collects Stitch pins, Incredible pind and pins which have moving parts. E-bay is a great place to get pins to trade and we probably have about 100 to take with us next year. I've only just discovered this board so hopefully I can get some good tips to help me next time we go.

Do either of you trade on www.pinpics.com ?

No - I have seen the site but don't feel I really know enough about the pins to know what a fair trade is. I will have a good look around it and see if I can pulck up the courage to trade :bitelip:

The great thing is you dont have to make a trade. I store a list of the pins I have which is useful. Trading is good there. You can turn the trade assistant on and put in some pins you want and some you want to trade and just wait and see what trades you are offered.
There is a place to click on the home page that tells you how to start.
