What makes Disney different is that it isn't just thrills, but thinking rides and also rides to teach us (such as what epcot's vision was after Walt died), also to immerse us in another world, time or place, I don't know about you but I think spaceship earth has some other best animatronics I have ever scene.
That is balony, Nathan. Again, no one has seen these plans. If you believe Jim Hill (and I'm not telling you to) then you'll see it says cutting edge effects yada yada yada. I have no idea what they will have. Maybe it will have animatronics that move like the droids in attack of the clones for all I know. Do you know any different?? no, you don't. You have no idea of what Quality, story, anything would go in to that ride. But you are going to compare it to six flags? How so?? You have no basis at all. What seperates disney from six flags is not the presense or absence of thrills, I assure you. Disney does not have to be boring and lame to be Disney. I don't even know how thrilling this ride will be! Whatever it is it won't be enough for Bob O! I'm sure that there is someone's grandmother who thinks that spaceship earth right now is to thrilling when it turns around backwards. Who is to say what is thrill or not? Especially when you have no idea whatsoever what the plans are.
Best animatronics? No, they are pretty stilted, very limited movement. They don't do a whole lot. Better animatronics are in the great movie ride (especially the witch), Indiana Jones, and hopper (especiall in Ca.) in tough to be a bug. Heck, even the cartoony looking people in Sinbad voyage move more fluidly. Even hall of presidents and american adventure look better. I'm hard pressed to think of any that look worse, unless you count something like food rocks as animtronics. Most of the pirates don't move that much, but Again, none of you even know if they are going to do ANYTHING, and you surely don't know what they will do if they do something. Maybe this place will have the best animatronics you've ever seen.
If I came on here and posted "I heard a rumor that they would not change SSE for the next 100 years!!" then there would be a ton of people *****ing how that is just like Disney of today, never adding anything new, just keeping the same old junk going. You can't have it both ways. It would be nice for something new to be there, yes, a few thousand Disney fans will be sad and miss the old one, but 10 million other people will be interested enough to go see it and like it.
