Any truth to a LOTR addition?

I read on another forum about LOTR rides being added to Universal as some sort of thrill ride? Anyone hear anything in regards to this?

First,

I seriously doubt this will happen. LOTR is so massive in scale, it isn't conducive to me as anything less than a full-fledged theme park in itself (and a big one at that).

Second, I really don't know if I'd like it, if Universal OR Disney did it in their current state of budgeting attractions.
