Any TRUCK DRIVERS out there?

As some of you know, DH and I are planning to move to Florida next year. DH is considering going to get his CDL once we are down there and becoming a truck driver. His dad was a truck driver and loved it. DH had always considered doing this, but he wanted to be around when our kids were little. Now that they have flown the coop, it's a real possibility. He loves driving and traveling, is good with paperwork and figures, and can sleep ANYWHERE!

Anyway, are there any truck drivers out there who can tell us the pros and cons?

Anyone know of a good school in the Central Florida region? He could go full time and we will have some cash to tide us over.

Well, I'll speak for my husband, who drives an 18-wheeler for Pathmark food stores. He loves it, except it hurts his back once in a while. He keeps in shape by cross-country running.
