And have you stayed in the condo to go to WDW?

We'll be staying there and I'm wondering what the condos are like, how far the parks are and if they provide any transportation.

I'm assuming I'll need to rent a car when we go because we also want to go to the Kennedy Space Center and the day we leave the condo, we go to the port for the cruise. But I'm wondering if we really need it all week, or just for part of the week.

Welcome to the offsite slums.

You will absolutely need a car, all week. Shuttles from offsite locations just can't compare to onsite transportation.

I don't own WorldMark, but know someone who does---I assume you are talking about Kingstown Reef? She liked the unit quite a bit. If you are not already a member, you might consider joining TUG (www.tug2.net). It's $15 annually, but well worth it for access to reviews, etc.

There is only one review of the WorldMark section of the resort, but it is quite positive.

Car rental it is, then. Still cheaper than paying for a hotel, though!

I guess it is Kingstown Reef that we're staying at. I'll search for that.

We are Worldmark/Trendwest owners and have stayed at Kingston Reef.

You will need a car for transportation IMHO. I can't remember if they have a shuttle, but from what I remember, you would need a car to go out for dinner or get groceries.

The resort is off I-drive (the southern end) and is convenient for the parks and seaworld etc but there were not a lot of shops/restaurants around. However they are forever building in Kissimmee, so things may have changed since our last stay there!
