Any Toy Story DvD coupons?

I picked up both tonight for $5.XX... from TRU. Used the 10 from the pre-order and 2 $10 Movie Reward Coupons.........I also had a TRU coupon for $5 off, but it didnt start til 3/27.

I left a coupon for someone else to use too.

I did the same - I was so excited about getting it basically free, and had never thought to check coupon for "starting date"(used to checking only for expir.), so I was a little bummed, but obviously the $5.56 is awesome, plus the $7.76 for PATF - makes $13 for all 3! Plus I'll do the Band-aid rebate, so $2.50/movie, and w/free tickets, I'll still be making money on the deal, and you can't beat that!:cool1:

I also shared the news of DMR/earning pts., and the upgrade coupons w/DD's dance/gym. class last nt., trying to pay it forward!:goodvibes

My TRUS said I had up to 2 weeks to pick up my pre-ordered copies. So I'm hoping to get a TRU coupon in the next days to use in addition to my $10 each manu coupons!

Yes, I was thinking about that after I left last nt. - I should have just come back on Sat. to pick them up! DD was with me and was going to buy something w/her money, so I thought I'd be using the $10 off $50 one I had, but she changed her mind, and I figured I had the 5... I got another 5 in the mail, I think because of Bday club(DS Bday in May), but only noticed expir., so I have to check starting date. Cashier said I could get it credited after the fact if it was good for these dates.

I just got back from TRU and I only ended up paying $.18. For some reason the guy could not get the preorder to work with the coupons. He kept saying they owed me money, and I told him I should owe him around $2 for each movie. Anyway he ended up using a gift card to pay for some of the balance and only charged me $.18. I don't understand what happened though, because on my receipt, it seemed to charge everything correctly. Anyway I don't think it's all straightened out in TRU system yet. But yahoo for such a deal on these movies! The cashier was a supervisor and luckily didn't seemed annoyed with me. He was genuinely happy I got such a good deal :)

I went to the Target closest to my office at lunch. They only had Toy Story in the Blu Ray packaging that I wanted. So they called one closer to my house but in the opposite direction of my office and they said they had both but wouldn't hold them for me. So I decided I would just go get them and be done with it and work later today to make up for the long lunch. I go there and they only had Toy Story 2 in blu ray pacakge.:headache: I bought that with Toy Story in DVD package as he said I could make the even exchange. So I ask him to check another store as the first one I went to only had 1 Toy Story in blu ray. He does that and says "Oh...we should have that..." and he found them. BUT...he can't do the even exchange and I have to go to the front to do that. She tries to charge me an additional $5.:headache: I tell her it should be an even exchange and she figures it out finally.

What a lot of work but I've got my blu rays!:thumbsup2

So, all that is needed to get the tickets is the Disney Rewards code that is inside the case? And you just enter it the same way you would with other movies you buy? Sorry, I got my sons both Blu-rays yesterday, but they are for Easter, so I can't open them. Just want to make sure I don't need any packaging or receipt for anything I'll regret later!!

Are there any rebates for buying TS or TS2?

I am not aware of any rebates.

The only thing you need for the movie tickets is the regular rewards code. You enter that into the Disneymovierewards site and they send you and email with another code that you enter into another site to actually print the movie ticket coupon.

Just picked up my TS1 and TS2 combo packs today.

After the $5 each pre-order, my cost today was $1.50 total.:cool1::banana:

TRUs gave me $10 off for buying both, then let me use the $10 off manu coupons each and then the $5 off manu coupons, too. I didn't think they would accept 4 (2 for each movie) manu coupons, as others have stated, but mine did. I checked my receipt and all I paid for the movie was tax! The purchase price was FREE!!

So - YAY for me!!:woohoo:

Thanks to all here for providing updates and advice.

Did we miss out???? :confused3

Our modem has been out for 2 weeks & I didn't have access to the DIS or the coupons! I just printed out 4 coupons for each movie (yes, we do this for gifts, etc...)

Where is our best option to save lots of money??? Is it too late for the $$ off the TS3 movie? TIA for any help! :flower3:

In order to activate the free movie code inside each TS box, you need to buy now!! I think the time to activate the code expires April 1st!!

TRUs had the cheapest price with $10 off for buying both; Target was the next cheapest. TRUs will let you stack the coupons (2 - $10 off + 2 - $5 off).

Go out and buy now!!!!:lmao:

TRU isn't running that anymore :sad1: Their price is $29.99 & so is Target's. :sad2: Walmart has them for like $25 each. The best I've found so far is Best Buy for $22.98 each (if you buy both, which I'm going to do.)

I just want to cry!!!! :sad2: Does anyone know of a good deal today or tomorrow? I was able to use the UPC's off of our old TS1 vhs & TS2 dvd to get the $10 off coupons. But, if I go to BB, I will still pay $26 OOP for both. :scared1:

Please help. :upsidedow I feel like I've "lost the game" ya know???

oh no, really? I have 2 for easter gifts too, and I didn't want to give them opened.

I think Toys R Us was running a buy one, get one half price on blu rays and DVDs this week (which still puts you at about $12.50 per movie)--which isn't really all that bad, it just isn't as good as the previous deal. Unfortunately, the good deals are only available the first week the movie comes out (as a general rule). You would be better off buying it the first week and then bringing back your receipt and coupons to get a price adjustment once you get the coupons to print.

Thank you so much!! :yay: I didn't even know you could do the price adjustment-thing! Hopefully I'll never have to deal with my dumb modem going out again. I really appreciate your help

it's good until 7/31/10 but I suspect the tickets will run out very shortly after Easter so make sure they are opened Easter morning and get your ticket asap.
