Any Totoro plush at WDW?

My boys have discovered the various Studio Ghibli movies that Disney distributes, and they are a hit with our family. My two year old, however, dearly loves "My Neighbor Totoro" - he watches it at least a couple of times per week, and would probably watch it every day if he could.

Does anyone know if any WDW locations (parks, resort gift shops, Downtown Disney) happen to stock a Totoro plush? I would think that this would be a highlight of his trip.

I'm not holding my breath, since WDW has gone to generic, homogenized crap in the vast majority of their gift shops, but I can hope.

Thanks!

Then you are set because they have the catbus too. I didn't look at the prices of the plushes but I will warn you that some of the Studio Ghibli items we looked at were pricy. My DD settled on a Kiki's Delivery Service notebook.

Thanks very much for the knowledge.

Mitsukoshi, from what I saw, had Totoro, the Catbus, the little soot thingies, Ponyo, and Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle. However, I suggest purchasing it elsewhere, as it will be more expensive at Disney rather than online on Amazon or something.

But your DS has great taste in movies :thumbsup2

Psh. *everything* is more expensive at WDW. Also... the soot thingies? Squeee!

But yes, we're teaching them right - Totoro, The Cat Returns, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away are all big at my house.

As PPs have said, the Studio Ghibli items at Mitsukoshi are pretty expensive. I've been admiring some of the plushes for many trips now and I just can't bring myself to spend the money. You can get the Catbus for $7.50 plus S&H on Amazon. If I remember correctly, it's closer to $25 at WDW.

I'm very excited to hear that Totoro is at Epcot! If there were a M&G with Totoro that would be awesome. Also at least one of the Disney transportation buses should be a cat-bus.

Well, I may be silly, but I honestly expect to pay $15-$25 at WDW for a plush. I am well aware that I can get one for a good bit less from Amazon, but the point here was to get a souvenir that DS will care about. This is our cheapest trip yet to WDW, but I'm still shelling out $3700+ before I look at gas money to get there and back, hotel on the way there, food expenses no covered by the dining plan, and incidentals (souvenirs, etc).

$25 for a good souvenir isn't going to kill me.
