any tips to save money on Universal/Islands tickets?

The kraft deal using the link gschmerl gave is the best deal. You get 5 consecutive days at both parks for $81.95 which less than the cost of two days admission.

Read these boards!!!! The good thing is that Universal does discount on lots of things!!!!! You can have an awesome vacation for cheap if you research.

There is no expiration date on them but they are only good for five days after the first day of use.

That means five consecutive days - not days of use. So if you go to the park on Monday, then the last day you can use the tickets is Friday.

The deal on tickets thru the Kraft link says that tax is not included. Does anyone know what the total cost of these tickets are?

Thanks!

I just bought mine and the cost for 4 tickets was 327.80 plus 2.00(will-call fee) plus 21.31 tax = $351.11.

It also said the expiration was 7/05.

On the universal site they are offering a really good deal if you plan on going more than one day. I got tickets for about $100 each and they are unlimited access to IOA and US and citwalk....it's a really good deal to check out!

Where did you see this? There has been a lot of speculation and some panic about expiration dates on these tickets. The consensus has been that there is none. I believe a few people have called and were told there is no expiration. Does it actually say that on your tickets?

I've just emailed them to see if there is an expiration date. We may be going the week of Dec 26th.

Anybody heard of a deal where you get 7 days for $99?? My MIL says her husband mentioned this - something thru AAA. I can't find any info on it.

You can buy a power pass for $99. This is an annual pass but it has black-out date for Christmas, Easter, and summer weekends. You need to make sure that your dates aren't blacked out before you buy. This is not a deal with AAA but just a deal on the Universal website.

I received my tickets via UPS on Friday and no where on them does it state an expiration date.

Are there tickets offered through the hotels like Disney's Length of Stay (or whatever it is now) Park Hopper? We would like to do only 1 or 2 days but want to be able to park hop and would like the front of the line feature.:D

I read a thread on these boards about a Mastercard offer if you buy 4 tickets you get 1 free and it had a price of like $359 something, I know I did the math and 5 people sharing these tickets would be paying onl $72 a ticket. Look further on these down on these boards and you should be able to find it, I'm going to look and see if I can find it also. I'm planning on using this offer since there are 11 of us going this summer. They said this offer went out last year and its still on the site, I know because I clicked on the link provided and it was still available. They are good for 5 days, the countdown starts the first day of use. Good luck!
