Any tips to get good seats for Frozen?

I would love to take some pictures and be toward the front, in the middle.

My friend will be in an electric scooter but could park it and walk in. Would we get better seats if she stayed in the scooter?

No fast pass for Frozen, right?

What about the dinning package? Is it worth it?

Dining package will let you get your seats before everyone else, so it's a good choice. Your friend (and you) will be in a separate line because of the scooter. They will let that line in first to give them more time to get situated, so you should be able to get excellent seats in that line as well, especially if you're toward the front. Definitely have her transfer (park it and walk in) as you will get worse seats with her staying in it. Even if you're at the front of the regular line you will get great seats for pictures. If you're able to spend the money, the dining package will give you the best pick of seats, then ECV line, then regular line.

Frozen dining is your best bet (although when I did it the tallest man in America sat directly in front of me. Sigh.) But it’s very pricey and the meal is fixed and unconventional-ish (personally I enjoyed it but would never choose it).

Do you get to pick your seat with the dining package? or is it pick a row and move ALL THE WAY to the end!

Well, it’s more like pick a row and everyone pretends not to hear the cast member saying move to the end. Dining guests can sit wherever they like but we were asked to fill in once the regular guests came in.

Is getting good seats really that much of a problem? ( I don’t need great seats...)
I actually thought is would be enough to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled time? Is it still that crowded?

We arrived about 15 min before it started and found decent seats for the five of us last week. Not sure there are really any bad seats in there.

We did the dining package and got front row seats. You can pick whatever seat you like.

I think best view is actually not in the very front row. I go for the first row of the second section on the floor. There is a guard wall in front of you so no one will be sitting there. And then you can get a wider angle than if you were in very front. Not as much happens within the aisles of the seating area (not like Aladdin where they had a whole parade come thru), but some of the ensemble cast does walk down there.

I think those rows may be sectioned off for the dining package. I know we were able to get right behind the guard wall but off to the side without having to be the first ones inside.

Oh, is it not crowded anymore? You can really get there 15 min before the show? Do they not fill the theater for each show? I haven't been since it was Aladdin. :(

The only seats I'd try NOT to get at this theater are the ones that are under the balcony overhangs. You can't see what's going on up in the air because it's blocked by the balcony. I haven't seen Frozen but I read somewhere that there is a scene or two where something is going on up high. I know this was definitely the case with Aladdin ... we sat on the main floor under one of the balconies and couldn't see most of the magic carpet ride.

You won’t have a problem getting good seats, especially if you arrive 25-30 minutes ahead of start time. You can line up 30 minutes ahead, go in and get your orchestra seats (just don’t sit under the balcony) and then visit the bar for drinks and snacks if you’d like. We’ve also done the Frozen dining package and enjoyed it very much. That being said, we love dining at Carthay Circle and consider it one of our favorite restaurants. We like to dine there during our visits anyway, so it makes sense to to do the package that gets us premium show seating as well. Consider it if you plan to dine there anyway. If not, you won’t have a problem getting good seats without it.
