Any tips or requests at DL hotel?

We decided to go for the better view and booked the themepark view. this should guarantee the Sierra tower with a view of the parks......right?

I want to be able to see fireworks and the Matterhorn/Space Mtn at night....will we be able to see those?

You can see alot of Disneyland from the front side of the Marina Tower though it is mostly the back side. I don't know if they would consider that a themepark view. I would make sure you still request the Sierra Tower just in case.
