Any tips on using Garden Grocer?

Going Nov 12-20 2017 to BWV. Do they actually deliver to the room if you are there? We have used them in the past and the order has always been delivered to bell services, even if we have been in our room. That just adds an extra tip to bell services, as we have already added a tip to the order for the Garden Grocer person. Any one experienced with this?

That's a great question. I've always had bell services deliver to the room. Since the order form asks for a delivery "window", I don't know if there is any way around it. They probably don't want to set a precedent of delivering to individual villas when they can leave all deliveries for one resort at BS and be on their way to the next location. Love GG! Have a great Nov. trip. It's an awesome time to visit!

I don’t think Disney would allow direct delivery to the rooms. From a security standpoint, it would not be wise to have that. As a hotel GM, I can tell you, you don’t want outside people knocking on your guest doors.

The amount of scams that happen at hotels is unbelievable. If they act as gatekeeper it is not to make more tips, but to protect you.

Another tip, if your phone rings and someone says they are the Front Desk and asking info like your credit card etc, GO to the front desk. If the hotel slips and lets people through directly you can get scammed.

Same thing if you let anyone just “deliver” to the rooms.
