Any tips on Renting Points?

We are considering renting points for a disney vacation. We have stayed at the WL twice & are considering the DVC - we like the idea of home away from home - so we want to rent points to try it out.

Any tips on doing this? We are considering OKW in May. I have two little ones. I have read posts re: turtle pond area. Do you request this during the reservation or when we arrive?

Any additional things I need to bring that I wouldn't have to at the other resorts?

Any suggestions on structuring the transaction??

you would need to ask the DVC member to request this for you when you make the reservation.

extra packs of coffee for the coffeemaker, stuff to toast/microwave/put in the mini-fridge? not sure about stuff for the kitchen if you get a 1BR or larger...

If you take or buy coffee (as opposed to packs), don't forget coffee filters!
